Ive come to a decision

Currently the video is 22 minutes long and with added animations it will probably be 23. My concerns lie in that the video is super dense. Like really dense. Watching dense things is fine but not when its beamed into your brain for 23 minutes.

I do not want blood on my hands.

So I have decided; I shall cut the video in two! I was really hesitant and against this as ive stated before but keeping the video in one will only hurt the viewing experience. I got fatigued at the 11 minute mark, but currently the horse is more stacked than the cart. So it was kinda like drinking soda from concentrate. Or the sour powder sat in the corner of the gummy (worm) bag. An addendum to that addendum is that ive already been micro-dosing this video as i am the one who created it. I took in no new information but thats not gonna be the case for anyone who watches it first go around. Splitting the video, while a tool for pacing and anti-azumanga-beaming, it also serves as a safety net.

I have a really dumb thumbnail and title idea that is integral to the video and I cant not use it. That being said its really dumb (although funny) and really dumb (kinda goofy) it may not function as the best thumbnail. I have hopes for it and I know that people who click on it will get the exact experience I want. I just hope people's curiosity compels them. If not then I kinda bunked 8+ months of work. So by splitting it I can have my ■■■■■■■ and eat it too.

By the by, today I finished one of my favorite bits so far. I was supposed to finish 2 bits this week but family stuff that had me up late caused me to sleep really late on monday.

The main turning point for me deciding to split it was a shift in perspective. I was super worried about making one video better than the other. But a friend of mine said "just make 2 entertaining videos. you can do that." "trust ur taste." I got so caught up in the 2 videos being intertwined with one another that I forgot the main goal of making the videos in the first place: To just be entertaining within themselves.

I know that I can make 2 entertaining videos out of the project, I just dont know how. s' How it always goes when I make shit; I dont need to know how ill do it, I just need to trust that I know I can at all. edit: it just kinda hit me that I can literally finish this video in a week because the videos like 3/4 or 4/5ths done. I just have 2 bits I need to finish for the thumbnail and then arranging clips. this is weird hhgghbg. i wouldnt bet on it being done within a month tho,
