Hello! sorry for not posting in a bit. I got sick when I got back home and Im still getting over it, but Ive been working again. Im finishing bits pretty fast; I started and completed an animation today. But I did get stumped with that one heavy animation I sent last time. I ended up breaking my foundational rule of having "the edit serve the clip" where I don't want to have edits that exist only for themselves (not a steadfast rule but one I only break with intention). The heavy animation by itself was turning out fine but when I stood back and looked at it in context of the bit, it needed to be trashed. The animation wasn't serving the bit and was just me practicing what Ive learned. That isnt a bad thing inherently, but I should have fully committed to making it as practice instead of half-assing it.

Currently, I mainly wanna keep my nose to the grindstone for a bit, not much has been on my mind about animation or editing besides wanting to do it. Since I dont have anything in particular I wanna say right now if you have a question just ask in in the comments. I do wanna start treating patreon posts more like a q&a thingy too from now on so if you have any questions about my work in generality just leave a comment and ill (prolly) answer them in the next post.
