To answer some of your questions (no spoilers), what we know has been said at some point in previous episodes so far is that some cylons are sleeper agents and they don’t know they are cylons (like Boomer). They think they are human. They can apparently be activated somehow to carry out missions, but they don’t have any memory of it. The Sharon on Caprica is not a sleeper agent and is fully aware of her actions. There is no type of “psychic connection” between any of the cylons , even between the same versions/models. No information being transmitted from one cylon to another psychically. There are only 12 versions/models of human-type cylons. So far we have seen four.
