so convex hull is the default, which is sorta like an invisible box around the object. If you have a sphere with rigid body set to convex hull, it wont roll around as well as if you were to put mesh. the biggest difference ive noticed is the margin in which the collision happens. if you set it to mesh, it gets much closer to the object before actually colliding.

how exactly does the shape setting in collisions affect the rigid body sim? i was messing around with different ones and nothing really seemed to change
