Damn, this was so much fun. To be honest, the actual case about the russian plutonium deal, wasn't even that interesting. But having Skinner on The Lone Gunmen is huge, and it lifted the episode above average. I remember seeing this when it first aired in germany, and I was freaking out like you guys did. You are absolutely right. Mitch Pileggi did a great job on playing Jimmy playing Skinner. 😅 There is an interview with Pillegi, and he explained how he studied Stephen Snedden, acting as Jimmy. Fun Fact 1) This was one of 5 Skinner centric episodes in The X Files universe. All of the other 4 were X Files episodes ("Avatar" season 3, "Zero Sum" season 4, "S.R. 819" season 6, "Kitten" season 11) Fun Fact 2) Skinner appeared in all of the 11 X Files seasons, both X Files movies, and The Lone Gunmen series Fun Fact 3) Mulder had his big episode with the Gunmen "Unusual Suspects" season 5, Scully had one in season 6 "Three of a kind", Dogget and Reyes had theirs in season 9 "Jump the shark". Now Skinner had his big appearance alongside the Gunmen, in their own show. Theres only one point of criticism for me: They always do what they did here. Skinner is the suspect in a crime, and they want us to distrust him. The same thing happened in Avatar, Zero Sum and Kitten. It's getting old. We know Skinner is a good guy. 😊 Damn, I hope he survived My Struggle IV 😰 Great reaction as always. 2 episodes to go.
