Oh, wow. I didn't even know that he died. 😱
Yes, his music was so important for the whole X-verse. Always set the right tone. This tango episode is a good example for that.

That"s how opinions differ. The last one was my least favorite. But "Tango de los pistoleros" is my favorite episode of the series, by far. So beautifully written and executed, nice sets. Shout out to the director Bryan Spicer who does a great job so far. Every character has his place in this, even Kimmy, the Gunmens associate.. The episode gives me similar vibes to the X Files ep with the Gunmen in Vegas. Yes, this clearly was an Yves episode. And I absolutely love that. I love to see Yves vulnerable and in a romantic situation. That's what I really wanted to see at this point. And I think Zuleikha Robinson played it very well. And the end had something for the Jimmy/Yves shippers. Yes, there were Jimmy/Yves shippers right from the beginning. I'm not sure if you missed the play on words, but pistoleros means Gunmen, of course.
It's kinda surprising, they did not do more with Langly in a dance episode, because Dean Haglund has a degree in modern dance.
And Langly being taken as a woman, because of his long blonde hair is becoming a running gag in the show.
But yeah, you could tell that Tom Braidwood is not much of a dancer, and it kinda felt like their inside joke on that.
By the way, I definately feel Emilys "This show is agressively canadian" in this episode. When the Gunmen left the bus, to take their dance lessons, the background looked so Canadian and Vancouver-ish, with the canadian hemlocks. This didn't look like Miami or Florida at all. Where were the palm trees? 😂 I mean, they weren't even trying to hide it. 🙈
However, absolutely wonderful episode for me.
Great reaction.
Really looking forward to the next one.......
