Brothers breaking the codependence and having long, fulfilling lives unto themselves is what I wanted for them. And it doesn’t mean that they aren’t sharing those lives. They could still live in the same town and barbecue on the weekends or do Sunday dinners. I could also see them living in a duplex and sharing a backyard where the dogs and kids would play and sitting out on the porch having a beer after work. Lol I’m just making up fan fic in my head. 🤣

With Bob Singer at the helm, he unfortunately had the power to make the finale be all about the brothers. They could have easily showed photos of Eileen instead of just blood family at Sam’s house, could have had Jody or Donna in a video call. He literally just wanted the story centered entirely on the brothers :(
