Like in The Winter Soldier, there are a few familiar names on the target list, both from the movies and the show: Peggy Carter, Nick Fury, and Bruce Banner are mentioned obviously. Then you have Victoria Hand, the red-streaked woman SHIELD agent from episode 1 who Ward killed in the Turn Turn Turn episode. Robert Gonzales, the de-facto leader of the “Real SHIELD” in Season 2. Susan Morse, the mother of Bobbi Morse who was briefly mentioned in “Parting Shot”. Isabelle Hartley, Hunter’s partner who got killed in the Season 2 opener. Gabe Jones and Jim Morita, two of the Howling Commandos from the first Captain America film. While they managed to get Cameron Palatas to reprise his role as young Gideon Malick from Season 3, Joel Dabney Courtney was unable to return to play Nathaniel Malick due to his commitments to The Kissing Booth movies, which led to the character being recast. And glad that you don’t remember about Nathaniel from Season 3, because back then, they did a good job making him appear as a timid young man who was following in the family business like his brother, but that last scene indicates that he is just ruthless as the rest of his family. Can’t wait to see your reaction to next week’s episode, because things are about to come to a head.
