Love how the Malick family directly connects the three different sides of Hydra. We have the undercover corruption business side that cause the great depression. (We saw this in Agent Carter as the council of nine shared the old symbol for Hydra they revealed that they influenced the market so they made freddy father kill himself.) The monolith side which the Malick family followed like it was a religion and then this reveal about the serum shows us that he basically created the Hydra Nazi side of Hydra by being the reason red skull was created.

And being in the past is so much fun still! From the costumes, period specific sets and the reaction to Shield from the contemporaries of the time (Koenig’s reaction to the Zephyr!) adds a whole new layer to each adventure. And the next episode is especially great I think - I can’t wait to see your reaction!!
