Sarge calling Daisy ‘Skye’ is one of my favourite moments of this season - such a clever call back, and such a great character moment for Daisy. The writers are so skilled in creating lovely beats like that (Deke’s quiet happiness at finally impressing Fitzsimmons is another one in this episode)
So excited for you to see the end to this season, and the beginning of the next. There are some wonderful things coming up.

You bring up a excellent point by comparing this to the ship of theseus metaphor.
The vision in Wandavision was not the true Vision. He didn't have his memories but he had his emotions and feelings like Sarge did at the start of the season.
The experience he had with Wanda made him vision in her eyes but he was not really vision.
Sarge says that his experience with his crew makes him Sarge not Patchy or Coulson.
The white vision was vision original body but no longer had the memories or emotions of vision so he was less vision.
But having both the memories and emotions makes vision truly our vision. Not the body. We feel Coulson in Sarge here because he showed both emotions and hints of memory coming back making him more Coulson.
It is always great to have these philosophical questions in the show.
There is a frame in this episode that reveals something interesting if you pay attention but it won't be fully revealed until the finale so it's fine if you never find it.
Now the creations from the monoliths are not truly the person they become. They are more like echoes. They aren't completely solid like their atoms aren't being held together fully (when they die they fade away to dust) but when the being like patchy entered the body the atoms align ( similar to Izel powers) making the body solid and "human" which is why Sarge seems more solid and human but when Daisy attacked him with her powers and killed him that messed up that process as well. You can see his face mess up trying to keep those atoms together.
So any noncorporeal being that enters those creation makes them more real after the fact otherwise they are just physical memories of the person made from fear or dreams like Benson husband. This is never really explained in the show it just makes the most sense why the ones in season 5 and Sarge seems so different to each other.
If something has the memories of someone you knew would you say they have that person's soul?
