At Comic Con they actually kept saying repeated;y that Coulson is really dead. Only admitting that Clark was back to direct the episode. However, iirc ads for the premiere made it clear he would be in the episode somehow.

2025-03-25 14:52:17 +0000 UTCThe deleted scene shows Deke calling the Mayor and telling him about the lighthouse base right before the events of the finale. Specifically that is can be used in case of an apocalypse level event to help house people. My theory is this is why Shield is back in the public because once the snap happened that was probably needed.
