Interesting - she was in Family Remains and Bad Boys in SPN.

Vel

I thought there was another episode!

Michelle Denny

She was a psychic in Clyde Bruckman!

WE’RE SO BACK! So excited for next week, I cannot wait!!

PeachyKeen

She was also one of the psychics in Clyde Bruckman! She’s a great character actor on TXF

PeachyKeen

Ikr? She does such a great job.

Michelle Denny

Plus One is the best episode of all the ones Chris Carter wrote for this revival, so far. Still a more mediocre episode for me, but glad you enjoyed it that much. I can see why, big shipper moments.

Wolfgang Engel

WHAT!? They were played by the same person? That’s wild!

Emily

Oh my, I knew those screams were coming, and I still wasn’t prepared lol. I was just like you, all giddy, especially after hearing Mulder saying that bit about the afterglow! Wasn’t sure if you realized that little Judy and little Chucky were played by the same person. She was also Mrs. Peacock in the Home episode, the one where she is rolled under the bed, eww. I want to say she was also in another episode, but can’t remember which one. Great reaction, until the next one!

I had been waiting sooo long for these reactions! And it totally exceeded my expectations, lol. I love how in this episode they’re particularly sexy! It’s almost hard to believe it was written by Carter. I remember when I watched it for the first time, I kept giggling and thinking, “This has to be a fanfiction!” We were truly well-fed with this one! — Fun fact: The actress who plays Judy (and Chuck—don’t know if you noticed it was the same actress, I didn’t realize it myself when I first watched) is the same one who plays the mother under the bed in the infamous Home episode.

Fernanda Monteiro

It was utterly joyful watching you react to this - especially the, 'afterglow,' line! Karin Konoval played the parts of Judy AND Chucky and she was the mother under the bed way back in the original series episode, 'Home.' David was the one who came up with the idea of Mulder waiting behind the door in the final scene. He's such a shipper!

Do you recognize the hangman playing twins??? Think back to season 4 episode 2 Home and what Mulder and Scully found under the bed in the Peacock House. The women missing her legs and one of her arms AKA Mrs. peacock!!! The Actress who portrayed Mrs Peacock is the same Actress who plays both of the hangman playing Twins in this episode!!!

I'm really happy you enjoyed it! :D I was certain the "afterglow" comment would be something you'll love, but I didn't expect you'd enjoy the whole thing, especially the concept / MOTW itself. I'm glad you did though. As for myself, I care very much about character development, so I simply couldn't get over the character assassination of Scully here, denying the existence of evil, seeing how it was an essential part of her character throughout the original series. Scully does not only reject the idea of ghosts here (absurd at this point), but also rejects the existence of evil, an epic blunder. Her belief in evil was a big part of her character, first and foremost due to her terrifying, traumatizing experiences with Donnie Pfaster in both “Irresistible” and “Orison,” specifically Pfaster being a man she has called “plain evil.” Secondly, because she is a devout Catholic who has had various faith related encounters with evil in episodes such as “Revelations” and “All Souls,” among others. And third, because it goes way back to her childhood: “When I was thirteen my father was stationed in San Diego. I was listening to the radio to that song when my mother came in and told me that my Sunday School teacher had been killed. He had been murdered in his front yard. And that’s the first time that I ever felt that there was real evil in the world.” – Scully in “Orison” But again... you're happy with this episode, so I'm happy about that. :)
