omg I adore this episode. Personally I have always shipped Megstiel over Destiel, but this episode gives us plenty of both, so everyone can enjoy it , and for that i think the winner of this episode is the fans lol. In all seriousness though, this is such a solid episode for Meg, and I love how far she has come from the demon who possessed Sam, and who killed Pastor Jim and Caleb. Watching her evolve over the seasons from enemy to frenemy, and actually even develop a solid alliance with the boys is so fun to watch, and while I understand why Rachel left the show, I really miss her for the next few seasons. She would have been the perfect demon for Sam to cure, and could have fully joined Team Free Will if Chuck wasn't so awful about the freaking trials. And I think the win for the episode should go to Meg. Yeah, she dies, but she also has come so far as a person/demon. She helps the boys find the Vault, she supports Sam and actually listens to him, and hears out his side of the story (something no one else does this season), and she goes out taking on Crowley to protect her unicorn, and the Winchesters. Just a complete badass, who started on Supernatural as a demonic enemy, but died fighting like a hunter. As for the angel tablet, it does have trials to shut down Heaven, but Metatron uses it to power himself up in order to a) cast the angels out, and b) to continue to run Heaven even after the expelled angels have fallen and it doesn't have their grace to stay up and running anymore. We never really see the angel tablet used in the same way as the demon tablet or leviathan one, but its what allows Metatron to become so powerful in season 9
