The reopening of The X Files: Even before the smoking man scene, and the scene with the spaceship, Skinner texted Mulder and Scully, that he needs to see them immediately, and I think it was already implied that Skinner wanted to reinstall them. 2. No, Scully doesn't work at the hospital anymore. When she talked to the lady, she said that she used to work here for the last 7 years. 3. Yes, the Dr. was the founder, and also the father, same person. 4. Yes, that was Mulders house in the dream sequence. I really like this episode, I think it was excellent. Maybe even my favorite episode of the season, which only reminds me, how short it is. It had all the ingredients, myth arc, drama, some gore and horror, but also humor. Yes, this episode was a hybrid. Kind of an motw, but deeply tied to the mytharc. Whatever that super kid is, I think it was implied that he is like William, and I wonder if William, wherever he is now, still has such powers. This episode only shows, how much better writers James Wong and Glen Morgan are, compared to Chris Carter. They always were my favorite writers, and wrote some of the best classics in seasons 1-4, till they left the show. It was Carters best move to bring them back for the revival. They said they watched seasons 5-9 and both movies, so all the X Files they weren"t a part of, to prepare themselves for their work on the revival.
