Garth' first appearance is definitely a main reason why I don't hate that wedding ep.

Rewatching this episode I noticed something about Bobby's memories.
He is switching between the hunter life and his normal life.
His hunter life destroys his normal life.
It all started with him picking up the rifle and shooting his father. the first "monster" he kills.
That trauma messed up his marriage and then a demon takes over his wife and he kills her destroying that normal life.
Then when he tried to give dean a normal childhood to "break the cycle" John tells him he isn't dean's father and dean grows up in the hunter life.
Eventually the monster shoots Bobby because he is still in the hunter life .
That is how it will end for all Hunters eventually like Rufus says and Bobby stays in that life as a ghost despite that hurting him in the long run.
Last episode he basically tells dean it is to late for him to be normal and he needs to get through his baggage to keep being a hunter.
With Sam it's the opposite he tried to tell him to break the cycle as well and live his life which directly relates to next season.
His first memory in the coma is them hunting but the last best memory for him is them being normal "kids"
