I live for the scene where the Leviathans are roasting Sam and Dean while being them. Probably my favorite thing in the whole series. "You can stay in the big one" 🤣 & The Levis were great. Would've worked too if the fandom didn't get pissy and correlated the Levis coming, to Cas leaving. Always felt the fandom resented them as a monster for it. They didn't wanna like em cause it means validating Cas' exit from the show.

2024-12-12 16:24:43 +0000 UTCI feel so horrible for Sam in this episode, when he learns Dean lied to him about Amy. I think any other time it would hurt Sam deeply (because he always absolutely, 100% believes and trusts in his big brother), but this season in particular i think Dean lying is borderline torture for Sam, considering right before Dean killed Amy and then lied to Sam about it, he was begging Sam to trust him. To believe him and let Dean be his point of reason, of truth and reality. He literally begged Sam to make him stone number 1. In this state, with his wall broken, and Lucifer constantly whispering in his mind, Sam needs someone to ground him, someone he can listen to without hesitation or questioning. Lying to Sam right now undercuts everything, and takes away that stability that Sam is trying to get. I get why Dean did it, but its always a gut punch for me to watch Sam’s reaction when he learns the truth. Especially because he only learns it by a monster. Dean didnt even tell him the truth himself, and that has got to mess with his head even more. If monsters are more honest then his own brother, of course Sam is going to slip further into his own head, his hallucinations. It’s Dean’s classic behavior of self-fulfilling prophecy- trying to protect Sam from what’s hurting him in this way only ever ends up hurting Sam more
