Another wrap up episode. This is for Doggett, what season 7 "closure" was for Mulder.

Think of it as a movie "before" the official 2nd feature film. Yes, Nicholas Regali killed Doggett's son. He was talking about himself ("the businessman") in 2nd person. Bob Harvey (guy from episode "Empedocles") kidnapped Luke, and Luke saw Regali, so Regali killed Luke. I do agree with you that Monica is basically out of character in this one. The episode succeeds overall, although it's a bit convoluted, but it provides needed closure for Doggett. I also love the soundtrack in this episode.
