You know, I find it interesting how much you dislike And Then There Was None. Personally, i always really enjoy it! As hard as it is to lose Rufus, I find that it was really, really important to Bobby's arc, especially regarding Sam. I don't think before this episode, Bobby had really, fully forgiven Sam for what Soulless Sammy almost did. Like, he may have known it wasn't really Sam, but that can be hard to rationalize against the trauma of a surrogate son trying to murder you. And the only other time Bobby has really been possessed was in season 5, but he stopped himself from hurting his boys. But with this... with accidentally killing Rufus, I think it gave Bobby some much needed clarity and insight into what it means to have your hands do something horrible, even if it wasn't you who did it. Or at least, it was outside your control. I think Rufus' death is what helps Bobby be able to find that line between Sammy and Soulless Sam that lets him move past what happened between them, because he can now empathize with what Sam must be feeling, and what Sam went through, and he can see Sam's perspective in a way he couldn't before. I think Bobby is able to trust Sam again, to embrace him again and even be there emotionally for Sam properly again because of that "shared" experience. Also, unrelated to the Bobby/Rufus stuff, I just absolutely love that Sammy got to take out Samuel. He was such a dick, such an asshole to both boys, but especially to Sam. he used Sam like a weapon, judging him the entire time without ever bothering to try and help him even when he knew something was badly wrong, and he manipulated Sam to his purposes, before trying to kill him when that use ran out. Sam is so often abused, and controlled and manipulated, his choices so often taken away, and he is betrayed by family and loved ones sooooo many times, that seeing him finally get some vengeance is a breath of fresh air. Personally, I love this episode. That being said, i totally get your dislike, and your point of view to.

(35:30) Love your idea of Balthazar thinking "oh my god he won't stop talking about Dean" XD
Yeah totally agree. Titanic did not make Celine Dion. She had already won the Eurovision Song Contest almost 10 years prior and then there was the Beauty and the Beast song and so on. But then again the Impala wasn't a thing just because the Titanic didn't sink so who knows why Celine didn't make it in that case.
