A World Betrayed DLC Update progress Info!

Hello Everyone, Team Radious here! 

Three Kingdoms fans worldwide are rejoicing as CA is releasing A World Betrayed DLC tomorrow (19.03.2020), alongside Bandit FLC. Its not even 2 months since last dlc - Mandate of Heaven.

However, this means, that as of today, our 3K mod is  officially under reconstruction. It is currently not compatible with  this newest update and will cause crashes. From tomorrow we will be working tirelessly to fix everything and make it interact seamlessly with all  the new features, but it will require countless hours of work. We need  to ensure that our content has its usual high level of polish and that  everything is done to the highest standard. Rest assured that we will do  everything we can to deliver the update to you as soon as possible, but  we are unsure as to when we are going to be finished so you will have  to unfortunately hang tight for now. 

With all of that in mind, we have a plea to make. The scope of the DLC and patch is extensive and requires almost a complete rewrite of many elements of our collection. Hundreds of hours of work are once again ahead of us, which we need to sacrifice from our private time, often after a full day at work or university. As such, we humbly ask you to consider becoming our Patron, giving us the much-needed boost. Even the smallest gesture helps us get a better grip on our lives and by extension on our work.

Update Info 0  - 19.03.2020: It all starts today.  I am back from work, dlc an update is downloaded and starting  to check how much has been changed and what all needs to be done. And after that updating process starts! 

Update Info 1  - 19.03.2020:  First 6 hours gone, already have something to share with you!  Base overview  of all new content was done, thousands changes which need to be done are marked and now only to do it all! All new content has been properly investigated so we know what to do with it and how exactly we will be adapting all new and changed stuff. We will certainly rework some new bandit features, units and caps. Several basic tables are now fully updated aswell. Now need some sleep and tomorrow after i return from work will continue!  Around 8% of all is done!  

Update info 2 - 20.03.2020: Friday here, 4 more hours of fixing behind me after i returned from work, weekend ahead and i should have much more free time next 2 days to work on updating - you know quarantine and all that = me must sit behind the pc and dont go out! :-) Seriously now, i hope you are all safe and doing good as much as possible! Now to the update - A lot first tables been updated, mainly tables related to new  buildings, effects and AI. All new bandit buildings are now completely rebalanced, many new effects for larger variety across all building trees. AI is now also fully updated for latest build and will keep its aggressivity behavior instead of passive lazy one! Around 15% of all is done

Update info 3 - 21.03.2020: We have behind ourselves another long night of fixing and updating stuff. Progress is going well sofar, was stuck on few places but after around 2 hours figuring what was wrong i managed to find the issue. :-) Some bigger changes to the game files not noted in any of the changelogs, as usual.....This night i focused on updating all stuff related to new units and characters, ensure that they are proper balance with the rest of the game, created new weapon variants for them for larger variety and did overall polishing to all this new content. Sword Cav wont have bonuses vs large, wont have invisible bonuses vs missile fire (that remains on shields), missile units wont have crazy bonuses vs cavalry, these changes are absolutely not needed and i prefer to edit every unit individualy rather then making these global changes. Around 25% of all is done.

Update info 4 - 21.03.2020: Almost all saturday working on fixing and updating stuff, need little break now before another long night! Or my wife will kill me! :-) Progress is going well, managed to start the mod once again, part 1 is almost fully updated. Bandits received complete rework, having own and entirely unique garrisons (no han units, only various bandit dudes). Bandit network is entirely reworked aswell, no unit caps, most of the units are different and more lore fitting, much less regular Han units, more Quaing, Xiongu and Yellow Turbans. All bandit special units are shared across all 3 factions for unique roster variety and totally different gameplay. All new units also received first wave of proper balancing and many new vanilla bugs has been fixed already! Around 40% of all is done.

Update info  5 - 22.03.2020: Another long night gone and saturday is behind us! Did a lot during night, had to get some sleep, coffee no longer works. :-) Part 1 should be now fully updated, with all new buildings, units, abilities, skills, economy changes and new technologies. Also fully focused on bandit new garrisons and their network tech tree and unit unlocking, will be very different from base game. Many balance changes to missile units. Crossbows can still fire over the soldiers head, have slightly longer reload and shorter range. Repeating crossbows have small bonus vs cavalry. Economy changes are also big and offer more gameplay options - Reworked Food Tiers - 5 negative tiers and 5 positive tiers - on top of regular effects they now also change your public order, negative/positive income and trade power. Reworked Fertility - Its now more profitable to build food and peasant income structures in high fertile regions, its less profitable to build them in low fertile regions. Around 60% of all is done.

Update info  6 - 22.03.2020: Sunday afternoon here! We are getting closer to final stage, mods is now up and running both parts have most of the content fully updated and adapted, heavy testing now and tweaking some new features so there is no evil bug left alone when mod will go live to you. Over 15 000 lines and entries had to be already changed and edited. All our official submods will be fully updated aswell. All patrons can also check our upcoming changelog on our discord server now! Around 80% of all is done.

Update info  7 - 22.03.2020: Incredibly busy last 4 days!  We are almost there and ready to release updated  version for all of you! We did some heavy  testing to ensure its completely crash free, finalising updating our official submods aswell. Tomorrow i have to be almost all day at work, someone myself included have to work to ensure critical infrastructure is working properly even in these difficult times! That means update may come very late today, cause tomorrow i wont have time for anything and it would have to be delayed till thuesday. This is our last update blog post, release will follow soon!
