2024-08-09 03:24:12 +0000 UTCThe minions of the shadows aren't just specifically trying to carry out the shadow agenda in their absence, they are also a bunch of angry children who are trying to punish the alliance for taking their overlords away. They are lashing out in fear and retribution and just want to make the whole universe burn. The Centauri were picked out because the Centauri blew up all the ships they had parked there during the war... so they are a particular focus of their anger, but destabilizing the whole alliance is their goal, with the idea of furthering the development of the races being at best a tangential benefit from their perspective.
