The Prophet & The Warlock Update Progress Info!

Hello Everyone, Team Radious here!

The time for rejoicing is upon us, for our CA Chaos overlords will soon grace our PCs with a new DLC and patch for Warhammer II! Overhauling the mechanics of the game, it will once again turn it into a fresh experience and change many of the current campaign dynamics.

The fact that the official trailer is out also means that the situation is ripe for us to announce that we have been working on adapting our work for it for some time now! As usual, the aim is to make our entire collection of mods and submods available on release day of the new DLC and patch, so you can all enjoy it the Radious way from the very beginning! Our Patrons can also expect constant updates from the Team regarding the progress of the update process!

With all of that in mind, we have a plea to make. The scope of the DLC and patch is quite extensive and requires almost a complete rewrite of many elements of our collection. Hundreds of hours of work are ahead of us, which we need to sacrifice from our private time, often after a full day at work or university. As such, we humbly ask you to consider becoming our Patron, giving us the much-needed boost. Even the smallest gesture helps us get a better grip on our lives and by extension on our work.

Update Info 1  - 04.04.2019:  Work started several days ago and today we have first info to share with you! Base overview of all new content was done, around "milion" changes which need to be done are marked and now only to do it all! All new content has been properly tested so we know what to do with it and how exactly we will be adapting all new and changed stuff.

Update Info 2  - 05.04.2019:  More work is done, we started to work on all our submods so they are ready for release aswell together with main mod. Around 10% of all is now fully updated  and rebalanced. Yesterday i focused on new buildings, skaven under citties and all effects + recruitment related to this. Also garrisons received minor updates too.

Update Info 3  - 06.04.2019:  A lot work finished today! All AI tables are now fully updated and adapted to all new changes.  AI recruitment updated to new changes. All new units fully integrated into the mod, first wave of balancing and adapting started, all new RoR units reworked to be far more special, unique and interesting then their vanilla counterparts. Many new weapons created to give them further unique role. Also first wave of balancing all new units costs and upkeeps, same as limits and recruitment!

Update Info 4  - 08.04.2019:  Another update today! Tons of additional balancing has been done. Many recruitment changes and several bug fixes. Rebalanced all new abilities, skills and spells to be more interesting in variety, usage and offensive spells to be more deadly when used right. Also all new projectile weapons rebalanced, main focus was on Skaven and their new gear. All new RoR units got their level requirements reworked to match with our changes to other RoR units.

Update Info 5  - 10.04.2019:  Large progress. Around 50% of core mode fixing and updating should be done now! Our custom units were properly assigned to new Skaven and Lizardmen factions. Sizes of various lords and heroes edited to mod standard. All new technologies fully integrated and rebalanced. Updated custom border colours to support latest version. Additional wave of unit balancing has been done plus minor hp boost across board to further slightly increase length of battles.

Update Info 6  - 13.04.2019:  Massive progress done! Finally Main Overhaul - both parts are now working again after around 50 hours of fixing and updating (small note, current build i am on is not yet release ready, so few things may change early next week and will need to fix/update those too aswell). But now mod is again working - game starts, battles load and play, campaign starts, end turn works. Tons of other thing were updated, all our edited and custom scripts are fully updated, visual and UI changes for new factions included and fully adapted, same for other UI things like loading screens, pictures, map design and much more. Additional balancing to many units, new effects and abilities. All new events, rituals, traits and other things also now rebalanced, all new fully included. Next focus will be on further testing, balancing and updating all our submods aswell!

Update Info 7  - 15.04.2019:  2 more days and DLC is here! Received today RC build with many additional changes and fixes. Many of those need to be integrated now into the mod and fully adapted so all is again properly operational. This will require additional hours placed into this in very busy week. I will do my best to have all release for release, there are further plans for content updates post release which will follow in upcoming weeks aswell! We are now at final stage where bug hunting and testing is top priority so all is working well for you once you get your hands on it! This update and dlc is again huge and it requires from us dozens of hours of hard modding work!

Update Info 8  - 16.04.2019:  Final blog today! Main Overhaul should be ready for tomorrows release. Tons of testing was done today, everything seems to be working fine. Official update contains significant AI changes so we will see how it will all work. Most of our submods will be also fully prepared and ready for you tomorrow! Plan to expand several new features are slowly shaping and that will be work for next few weeks! Get ready for new DLC release, we worked many past weeks to have it release day ready for you once again!
