2024-05-23 06:01:55 +0000 UTCIt's also certain that Earth - and nearly the entire League of Non-aligned Worlds has atrocities that must never be forgotten, shameful as they are. On Earth, the Holocaust took approximately 11 million lives and could have been worse had certain people not been stopped. In the B5-iverse, The League (including Earth) wiped out the Dilgar race entirely! That only comes up in a single episode in S1. The Drazi were probably hoping to eventually wipe out the Enfili, using others to do their dirty-work for them. Likely other planets in the New Alliance have similar things in their history that they'd love to forget but CAN'T, because history repeats itself - and soon - if you forget. Battlestar Galactica definitely touches on this subject in a big way.
