Such an emotional reaction. I was feeling stuff just watching it all unfold, then your reactions when Mulder 💛 was found..... 😭 Mark Snow's music adding such majesty and depth of emotion........ To me, The X-Files truly is a work of art. Can't wait for the next episode reaction. You two are awesome! 👍👽

I think you need more patience with Doggett. He's in the X Files office for a few months now. It took years for Scully to open up a bit for Mulders theories. 😅 I think what is so great about Doggetts hardcore scepticism is, that it really pushes Scullys character development. Doggett forces her to be a bit more like Mulder in this constellation, because she literally has to defend years of her and Mulders work and experience.

Didn't expect you to remember Jeremiah Smith, to be honest. 🙈 Yeah, the X Files always requires a good memory. Even more for us, watching this when it first aired, because it took many years sometimes, until they continued a certain path of the story, or reactivated certain characters. I think you reached the point now, where the season really picks up. And they introduced Monica Reyes here. Yeah, she's very new age. I bet she and Scullys sister would have had some great conversations. 😂

I just came here to say that since the first moment I saw this episode, I got tattooed in my mind and heart the: HOW BAD IS HE? HOW BAD IS HE HURT? - HER TOUCHING HIS FACE - HE NEEDS HELP. It destroyed me.

I needed this tonight, thank you! I was waiting for this one so eagerly, lol. What a phenomenal episode in every aspect, not just the story but also from a technical standpoint, plus the music, that sequence at the end with Scully running with the UFO nearby, everything is superb. So many "goodies" sprinkled everywhere throughout the episode. I was surprised Shelley almost immediately recognized Jeremiah Smith, seeing how he was last seen in the season four premiere "Herrenvolk", that's awesome! You are also asking a very important question here... about what exactly is being done to these abductees. These are lengthy and complex experiments being done, and then they are just dropped off, seemingly half-dead. What would have happened to them if Jeremiah Smith hadn't intervened? The cult leader Absalom refers to this as being part of the invasion he predicted. Things to ponder. Introduction of new character Monica Reyes, has a history with Doggett's search for his son. Unfortunately, Scully in a terrible place right now, finding Mulder literally dead, and the only man who could've saved him is gone, seemingly abducted by aliens right in front of her. Can't wait for the continuation. :)
