I completely understand your perspective on separating characters from the irl cast and crew/producers, given that deep in the fandom you can learn about things like inappropriate fan interactions (I can think of at least 5 cast/crew), etc. Doesn’t matter how entertaining they are on stage, its hard to watch those people any longer…and some Creation even banned from ever appearing again.

2023-09-18 02:18:06 +0000 UTCi feel like for me, supernatural, is one of the very few shows where ive been able to relatively well, separate the art from the artist as these characters and the story means so much to me but as for the cast and crew....i feel like i just know too much and have seen too much with my own eyes to look past the "human flaws" with the majority of the actors and crew involved. i am excited for you to experience a con however as for me it was one of the most memorable weekends of my life back in 2013. the atmosphere and the vibes for the most part are great. cant believe youre so close to the end and so deep into the fandom. seeing you get wrapped up into the lore of the fandom and seeing more and more of it feels very nostalgic lol

2023-09-17 23:39:58 +0000 UTCI’d be lying if I said the whole prequel situation and their response to it didn’t impact how I feel about each of them, but I overall still really like both J2. They may or may not be as close in person, but that’s not my business. They present a United front, are still great together on stage, during photo ops, and in their meet & greet, and that’s all I ask as a fan. And they clearly still have fondness for each other, which is nice.
