Very fun reaction, and it's a clever story indeed, although it requires some suspension of disbelief. All the tasks that LaBonge was able to do were "too much", like disappearing out of the truck in like three seconds and being tons of feet away, or the flame in his hand literally transporting Alvarez's wallet into his hands. Some stuff like that is way more than what a regular magician does. Also both of them escaping, planting the money, and returning, without any evidence on any camera, witnesses or similar, is hard to accept. But it's a fun episode, clever when you can't figure out who is who and what are their intentions. Something I'd like to add in general is that there is a particular aspect to your X-Files reactions that I very much appreciate, and that is your references to older episodes, and specifically, episode titles. I have followed many X-Files reactors, and I know of only one except you guys, who mentions episode titles and ponders what they could mean, et cetera. I say this because back in the day during the original run, this show's episode titles meant a LOT to fans. We would look at them and literally try to figure out what it could mean. Most other reactors simply say "we're at season 7, episode 8", and that's it. No doubt, there are some high quality reactions elsewhere too, but you guys and another reactor who I won't mention, are the only ones that actually mention the titles and also try to ponder what they mean. For a "Phile" (fan of this show), this adds more quality to the reaction video. And speaking of Philes, there was a big PhileFest recently, celebrating the 30 year anniversary of the X-Files. It was a huge thing, it's all over Twitter. Just be careful if you look it up to avoid possible spoilers. Best wishes, take care.
