Like @Sharon Owens, I only watch the Jack parts. Did you notice that he blamed the girl saying she ran into the knife? To me, that plus the lying indicates he has no soul. I felt sorry for Jack, but I think you're stretching with the parallells to Sam/Jessica. Not everything has to be referenced or parallelled. You really seem to like your parallells. LOL Sam seems to be in a better place. He's getting over the hunters' deaths.

2023-07-01 04:44:40 +0000 UTCI enjoyed Jack's storyline in this episode. It was sweet and a little sad seeing him try to make friends. But I knew there was no chance of it actually working out. At least no one had to die and we can hope he learned a valuable lesson. When this episode originally aired back in 2019, I was excited because I really like Adam Beach (Sheriff). But they really wasted him as a guest star with the writing and the whole Kohonta story. This and "Mint Condition" are my two least favorites of this season.
