I've never watched Walker--just not interested. Loved The Winchesters. Gotham Knights is...ok. I saw a review on YouTube that said Misha as Harvey Dent is 5 star casting on a one star show. Which...is harsh. I'd give it two to two and a half stars overall but yes Misha is great. He is why I continue to watch. As for Jensen's news (I haven't seen anyone else bring it up), it seems to be the news that Chaos Machine Productions has a first look deal with Amazon Prime, which is awesome. They did have a deal with Warner Brothers, but they sort of parted ways in that anything already in development with WB stays with WB (ie The Winchesters if renewed) but Amazon gets first crack at new ideas.

I agree on the winchesters. I just couldn't get invested in the characters. But I would never tell someone to not watch it either. I do love Katie Cassidy better as Ruby and do agree that Gen showed a little bit if a softer side with Sam. I think Gen's best episodes were the last two of the season where she starts to let the facade of being trustworthy go. I always wondered if Katie hadn't left would Sam and Ruby been in an intimate relationship? I mean, she and Jared didn't have real chemistry together, in my opinion, so not sure if that aspect could have worked with them. I think Katie actually had better chemistry with Jensen. Gen and Jared obviously had chemistry😊

I think more people like the OG Ruby better. I tend to agree that she was a better actress, but I think Gen’s Ruby was more sympathetic with Sam, making the way she was manipulating him in Season 4 feel more believable, if that makes sense. I can’t picture Katie’s Ruby stroking Sam’s cheek or pretending like she cares about his relationship with Dean. She’s more harsh. Weighing in on the shows. I’ve watched most of Walker. I think a lot of the cast has good chemistry and they seem like fun people (one of the Walker panels at a con was absolutely hilarious, but I can’t remember which city it was in), and there are a few great acting moments, but I can’t say it’s one of my favorite shows. It sometimes feels a little low-stakes to me, like drama lite. It’s a good comfort show if you like the actors. Season 3 has been by far the best season in my opinion, though. What I like about Walker most is how it seems to be an amazing set and the producers, including Jared, treat the cast and crew with respect. Jared seems like a very hands on producer and seems to have used his experience on Supernatural and help make a great work environment that the cast, crew, guest stars and directors rave about. Apparently he and Gen are quietly working on some stuff through their production company. I tried watching The Winchesters, but it’s really not for me, and it doesn’t vibe like Supernatural. I love the OG show more for the characters than the myth arcs, so it’s hard for me to get into this one. It also feels a bit low-stakes at times, so maybe that’s a new trend on the CW. Again, just my opinion and people should totally watch it if they’re interested. I have only watched the first couple of episodes and the last, though, so I won’t speak with any authority on it. There are a few moments I liked. I’m interested to see what Jensen will do with the new deal that was announced.
