F1 Extra: A 'less furious' reaction to F1: The Movie
Added 2025-07-04 07:00:08 +0000 UTCIf you listened to the last episode of F1 Extra, where Edd Straw, Samarth Kanal and Jack Cozens shared their immediate reactions after watching F1: The Movie, you'll know that neither Samarth nor Jack had many good things to say about the Hollywood blockbuster (to put it mildly).
But not everyone at The Race came away from the cinema demanding the film be burned, and after reading YOUR views on the movie, we thought now would be a good time to share the views of two members of staff who had much more positive experiences watching it.
So, re-join Edd Straw as he catches up with Charley Williams and Glenn Freeman for a considerably 'less furious' reaction pod, which will almost certainly be our last on the subject!

2025-07-09 00:53:39 +0000 UTCI was perhaps overzealous in calling fractally bad, and what Edd said about the producers setting our expectations in terms of the authenticity really resonated. I think this was the source of much of my disappointment. I'm glad the Martin Donnelly thing was addressed, too, because I found that uncomfortable, as well.
