Nah I don't think Ward was right about the well. That confession was given under super duress. Christian was trying to placate Ward and stay alive. Ward probably thinks it's true but his versiosn of the 'truth' are his alone and he is a sociopath. He makes up lies t justify everything he does, but to him his lies are his truth.

I love the well scene not because I agree with what ward is doing at all but because it shows just how damaged both he and ward are because of the negative influences around them. We don't know Skye's father's name yet but it's nice to see a clearer picture of his motivations. We also see Whitehall origins and you picked up that pierce got him out of prison.
