The answer to the scandal question was absolutely ridiculous. Crash gate as number one is totally understandable, however number two being Abu Dhabi, 2021 and number three being Damon Hill, not being signed by Williams. No mention of Spygate as if it were a giant joke. Iām sorry, but the bias shown here is unbelievable, especially from Matt who I thought more of prior to this episode. I think overall this is a travesty and they should apologize.

2025-06-21 23:09:19 +0000 UTCGentlemen, I loved the entire series and will still be listening to you when the new season launches. However on one point concerning Motor Racing scandals, you mentioned Abu Dhabi 2021. I would request you to please have a look at the Silverstone race that year and tell me without your "bias" whether the move by Lewis on Max was warranted. Given the points situation if he wasn't punted out of the race, Lewis would never be considered a so-called "8 times WDC". I also draw your attention to the fact that Mercedes went against the spirit of the rules that year and deliberately introduced additional IC components of Lewis's PU to have a better mechanical advantage over the Honda PU in Max's car. Frankly speaking, Max rightly won in an inferior car and was the better driver all the way through the year. Regret to say that Lewis's WDC victories have only come in mechanically superior cars. Even his 2008 win was only after Ferrari and Massa messed up Singapore else even that year would have been a blank.
