Simon Patterson, Val Khorounzhiy, Megan White and Matt Beer discuss the vibe at both Yamaha teams - with a visit to Tech3 topics too as another perky Bradley Smith performance coincides with angst over team-mate Pol Espargaro being prioritised for the future.
And though this wasn’t the most sensational race we’ll discuss in the series, did it get away with being tedious because the soon-to-return Brno track is just so awesome?

MM crashing - he came to MotoGP around the time airbag suits came in and although this doesn't make the rider invulnerable it must play into the older riders riding style to a degree where crashing could loose a title or they would have to ride hurt. One of Rossi's strengths was that he didn't crash much. By now Repsol Honda have reverted to the 2014 chassis, the other Hondas didnt get this. I'm not sure theres a full on Rossi / MM rivalry at this stage, it comes in full effect after Phillip Island were MM may or may not have backed Rossi Ianone up. The Yamaha wall, it wasn't just that JLo and Rossi used different tyres, Yamaha redesigned Rossis bike to use the Bridgestones.
