πŸ” Driving Style Secrets Episode 6: George Russell

On the final episode of Driving Style Secrets in this series, Mark Hughes and Edd Straw analyse the driving technique that has made George Russell one of F1's best drivers.

They explain what's unique about the Mercedes driver's approach, and how his style - and speed - compares to the likes of Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.

Next week, Edd and Mark will return with a special Q&A episode, where they'll answer follow-up questions about the six drivers covered in this series. So if you'd like to ask a question about the driving style of Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton or George Russell, drop it into the comments.

And finally, for those of you asking about future episodes of Driving Style Secrets we have some good news: We'll be returning with a second series later this summer, when - without giving anything away - we'll be covering some more of the sport's biggest names.

So George needs to increase his mid corner minimum speed to be more competitive to the likes of Leclerc & Max ?

In your Driving Style Secrets Episode about Piastri, you mentioned that Verstappen is predictable in Wheel to Wheel Racing, which Piastri can use against him. However, I cannot recall a recent example where Verstappen was overtaken or kept behind when he wasnβ€˜t at a not insignificant car disadvantage, like against the McLaren at Miami. So is Verstappen still the best Wheel to Wheel Racer at the Front End of the Grid, no matter how much one may dislike his aggressive style? Also, which drivers in the midfield apart from Alonso may have even better Wheel to Wheel skill? Itβ€˜s Ocon and then Gasly for me.
