I went back and checked, and Simon explicitly says that he ‘thinks’ they don’t have to have the same bike - and his tone of voice made it clear he wasn’t sure. He got that wrong, but he never came out claiming that was definitely the case, so I feel like it’s a mischaracterisation to claim that Simon and Val ‘only speculate’ on an obviously labelled opinion piece, and based on one inaccuracy (which was clearly something Simon wasn’t sure about, and never claimed to be)

2025-06-14 07:10:06 +0000 UTCSimon is wrong about homologation. Yes, ducati can gomologate the 2024bike for 2026- but it had to don so for both bikes. Marc and Pecco. Thet canr have one rider on the 24 spec and one on the 25spec. Thet both have to be on the same spec in the same team. I would have expexted more detail/accuracy. OxleyBom/PaddocckPass, they allmgot It right. One Among many reasons i’m unsubscribing from yout patreon. I like facts. You mosrly bring speculation, at best. Especiallt Simon And val :(
