Aston Martin has dismissed certain "paddock gossip" around the injury that ruled Lance Stroll out of the Spanish GP - but mystery and intrigue remains part of that particularly storyline.
What's his recovery plan, and who will replace Stroll if he can't contest his home F1 race in Canada? Ben Anderson is joined by Jon Noble in our latest video - available ad-free here on Patreon - to answer those questions and more.
the only mystery is why would Stroll lose his temper this time - when more often than not he is out in Q2 (if not Q1)?

I have been rooting for Lance Stroll this year and think he could have a Sainz type comeback if his post surgery race prep goes well BUT I have to acknowledge how icky F1 and all heavily invested businesses seem when you cannot do actual journalism bc of the threat of financial damage. I think Lance is very skilled but I don't believe a word of what anyone at AM says about him bc they are employed by his dad. Team principals lie or warp the truth all the time to steer narratives for financial gain. I WISH there wasn't as much money in the sport so that the racing could be talked about with a bit more passion and sincerity from the people involved, where saying negative things won't be detrimental to your career and wouldn't cause mass harassment on social media. But alas, the cars are more advanced than ever. I can watch soapbox races intermittently to deal with my frustration.
