I am a new fan to F1 - but as a layperson I was certainly aware of the legend of Ferrari’s iconic team. From my narrow perspective it made perfect sense that a knighted 7-time world champion in Hamilton could even care about attempting the move to Ferrari. However, I would love your informed perspective, now that a half-season of data is in, on does the Ferrari-Hamilton pairing still feel like an aligning-of-the-planets level thing? Let’s imagine Hamilton were ultimately to win an 8th championship with Ferrari, accompanied with a Constructor championship: would all of the F1 world have some sort of holy second-coming moment by them returning to their respective pinnacles in such a fashion? Or is my impression of the gravity of the situation over-hyped?
