2023-03-12 02:15:54 +0000 UTCThis is the second time Merlin says i have turned Arthur against magic forever, the first time was in morgouse's first episode when he convinced Arthur that morgouse was lying about what Uther did to his mom when she wasn't, that one was because he didn't want Arthur to kill his dad because he was about to do that when he thought he killed his mom, it's like everytime Merlin tries to save Uther the universe punishes him lol, finally Arthur is king 👑!!!!

2023-02-23 06:18:09 +0000 UTCI’m so glad you find old Merlin as funny as I do 😭 This is a good episode, which really moves things forward and resets the show. It was a good plan to try and bring Arthur round to magic, which I remember you saying you wanted Merlin to try and do in your season 3 reactions. The whole episode gives you such mixed feelings, even though as you said, Uther dying and Arthur becoming king should be such a cause for celebration! And I actually really like how they kind of subvert expectations by having Uther die not in a finale, and dying at the hands of a random assassin, quite anticlimactically. Can’t wait for you to see some of the upcoming episodes this season!
