Dean has known Sam as a brother for 20+ years before the powers and bullet suggestion vs Jack as Lucy's son with god level powers and what...days? Bad analogy. Sam and Jack have similar traits to be sure, but are still miles apart as characters.

As a psych major. The fact that Sam was reading "The Drama of The Gifted Child" is AMAZING. This book deals a lot with being raised by Narcissists or parents who treated their children as what they wanted/imagined them to be and not as real human beings. Or when children were forced to be the "parents". This obviously applies to how John raised the boys, even though he's not a narcissist. And also how Jack is the son of the ultimate narcissist in the universe. Also i recommend this book to anyone who went through childhood trauma.

The ending scene in the bunker, followed by Cas waking up….is infinitely rewatchable. Love it. Supreme angst and then elation

I've been waiting for this episode, it's such a great one.
I'm also never gonna get over the last bit of this ep. specifically.

Jack is more powerful than Lucifer, who is probably a tad bit less powerful than Michael. So his word found Castiel, Sounds good to me!
