I'm really far behind watching your reactions, but I hope you don't mind me responding now. <p></p> <p>My favorite episodes are similar at the top: </p> <p>5) The Future</p> <p> 4) First Blood <i>Badass Dean & Sam</i> </p> <p>3) Who We Are</p> <p>2) Regarding Dean </p> <p>1) Stuck in the Middle </p> <p>This season is one of my least favorite, for exactly how you explain. A good idea that just was poorly executed. I don't think Lucifer would really care anything about Mary, since he's permanently in Nick and Sam doesn't matter to him anymore, but I agree that Rowena was under used. To me, S11 is pretty good, and I like the finale because it's so different, so gentle and about forgiveness.</p> <p>All I know is that I'm going to miss Crowley/Mark S the most if he's permanently gone, as he's my favorite character of the series.</p>

2023-01-14 09:30:25 +0000 UTCI actually really like what Dabb did *overall*, with the exception of a few clunkers and feel like he takes a lot of heat simply because he has a different view of the show and the boys than some fans do. It's ok to not agree, but I was, again, *overall* happy with the Dabb era. More so than Gamble era, that's for sure. I don't want to say too much, just that there are a couple episodes that are wtf to me. One in 13 and one in 15. Going by those two, I can definitely see why some people don't like Dabb. But I'll talk about that later. Edited to add, I think Shelley will like season 13. Hope so, anyway. I am particularly excited about the first 6 episodes.

There are plenty of people who think Dabb is trash, some that love him, and a bunch in the middle. It will be interesting to hear your take on things as you go through the remaining seasons.

2022-12-26 04:25:02 +0000 UTCI guess I am in the minority, but I love season 13. Always will. It is my favorite season. I just really enjoy the episodes, characters and story. Seasons 14 & 15 are harder for me to get through, but that's why we're all different; we can enjoy different seasons for different reasons. I do agree season 12 was not great though. 2022-12-26 01:58:41 +0000 UTCi definitely agree with switching the ranking around when you're done with the show because my ranking first time watching the show did not look the way it does now. and its funny that you said you feel like the earlier season should rank higher but you can't fully remember them because i felt the same way. when i was catching up on seasons 13-15 1.0 i decided to rewatch it from the beginning and i gotta say it was really heartbreaking seeing the mess dabbs , and of course others, era brought and similarly to what hasnaa has said above me, you need to , unfortunately, lower your expectations. to me personally the last 3 seasons sit at the bottom of the ranking. they change which one is at the bottom every few months lmao. without spoiling anything since you might read this, its just messy. it becomes apparent that they run out of things to do. storylines to do. plot twists to do. villains to use and it's very very upsetting because for a lot of people that's 15 years worth of an investment into a show that ends.. well ill see you when we get there lol i think someone mentioned this in the last episode or the episode before how they play homage to earlier characters, seasons, lore etc but it feels like (dabb and bucklemming especially) it is being reused because of lazy writing and running out of things to do. and i feel like that is a huge theme in these next seasons. a lot of greatest hits which should HIT but just fall flat and are disappointing. even in s12 that was a lowkey recurring theme. great ideas, great plots but like you said it yourself, the execution was subpar at best during some of the episodes. obviously i don't wanna be all negative and stuff and say there are things to look forward to, however there are about 10-15 episodes from the remaining ones that im excited to see you react to/im looking forward to rewatching whoops im not sure when it comes to this patreon what peoples opinions are on jack and what happens to him but ive gotta be fully transparent in case you see my future comments, i am not team jack. never was and i think he is one of the main reasons the remaining seasons are the lowest in my ranking. but with that being said, i am actually looking forward to your reaction to the season premiere and seeing the aftermath of season 12 finale. widower dean, here we come

2022-12-26 00:15:31 +0000 UTCDabb is the worst show runner imo so i get what you're saying about it being a show running problem coz we actually had amazing new writers joining this season who wrote almost all of your top 5 episodes lol so the new writers are definitely not the issue, i don't wanna sound discouraging but i would just advice lowering your expectations for dabb's era in terms of delivering a solid overarching plot and just enjoy the individual amazing episodes that the amazing writers manage to give us despite dabb's messy show running and buckleming's fuckery, there are still gems to come, i really feel what you said about cas, him lasting that long proves that cas is the ultimate rebel, the freewill agent of chaos that refuses to obey even his creators, no one is doing meta like him lol, i agree that sam's character took a bit of a backseat imo, that's why the whole not wanting to be a leader thing came out of nowhere for us, there was no recent build up to it, you can definitely find an explanation that works but you have to work for it, i wish they lead to that better however i truly believe he was just fine with Mary's return coz it was just like meeting a new hunter friend, he didn't know her so he didn't have any baggage with her, it's just like meeting new people and making friends, the show started to shift the focus more on dean's feelings in general since season 9 with the mark of Cain plotline and just forgot to shift back? Lol, the last time I knew how Sam felt about anything was season 9, anyway, great wrap up and happy holidays

2022-12-25 16:28:24 +0000 UTCRegarding Dean and Stuck in the Middle With You are in my top 20 eps of the entire show (between 11 and 20). And that finale is in my top 30. You got some predictions right for season 12 not all, but not too bad. In episode reactions you randomly say stuff during episodes where you predict things that happen and it's always fun when that happens, especially if it's seasons later for predictions. we need to try and find them and compile them for you when the show ends... lol - time will tell to see how many season 13 predictions you got right. Are you going to be watching the gag reel before season 13 starts? I sent you a link with it on discord a while back.

2022-12-25 16:10:15 +0000 UTCAs a Casgirl I did love s12 for the amazing Cas story/scenes we got (not considering how the whole thing ended ofc, even though that was a great shot with him on the ground nonetheless...). So yeah my main conflict about the season was about how much I loved the Cas stuff vs. also how little he was in the last 8 episodes. No wonder though that my top 5 episodes of the season show pretty good what I loved about s12: 1. 12x12 2. 12x10 3. 12x11 4. 12x19 5. 12x23 (cruel and painful but also somewhat amazing episode) lol I typed this before I watched your top 5 and love that we have the same episodes just in a different order XD

For some of us not to feel a deep connection with Mary, they fumbled the handling of her character. Kudos to you and fellow Patreons, that at least I don't hate her as much as I used to.
