This has been my longstanding point. Miraculously, the drivers can stay within track limits at Monaco! I personally, don't agree with the inside driver being able to just run the outside driver off the road. BUT, Verstappen has made it acceptable now. I've never been a fan of all this BS and 'rules of engagement'. Frankly, there wouldn't need to be if the track limits policed themselves like Monaco and now other street circuits. But I admit i'm old skool.

I’m not sure I’m comfortable of this seeming to define a divebomb overtake as being “out of control”. There are such things as controlled divebombs.

So it is ok for the inside leading driver to not leave room on the outside. Do the circuits have to provide room on the outside for the failed attacking driver? Bit tricksy at Monaco!
