2022-12-12 08:35:33 +0000 UTCI'm not sure what parallel, if any, the writers were making here. But if I had to pick, it would be the sheriff being a parallel to Mary. They both attempt to leave the family legacy. But the monster (i.e. the god and Azazel) is still there waiting. Neither could escape their legacy. The two teens who were killed by the god could represent Sam and Dean. Mary's deal with Azazel irrevocably changed the boys lives. While they lived, their innocence and the possibilities for their future died. It became her legacy. It was the thing that defined her after her death. And it defined her family. But I could be completely wrong.

2022-11-28 13:47:00 +0000 UTCyay! this was so fun to watch in the middle of the night as i got ready for a 5am shift. i think this is an episode that hits harder in retrospect, but i truly had forgotten about most of it - except carving their initials. could never forget that. the bunker is such a good and protective home for them, it makes me very emotional. ketch is the worst. fuck the MOL. i love how passionate you are about your hate for them and while i also hate them i think they added a lot to this season - if nothing else giving us a human adversary who is also evil and we hate. that nuance is great. i'm really excited for the end of this season and can't wait to see your reacts!

Or take one with her, dean only has one picture of her!, Sam & dean carving their initials on the table is so cute 🥰, the bunker has become their home too, i can't wait for next episode!
