Yeah, we were a little tired of the old template we were using for the illustrated stories, so I asked Martin if he could make a new one; he came up with this great replacement that nicely fit the Storybook feel we'd been aiming for with this set-up. ^^ Meshing the pictures and text together flows very naturally like this, and it keeps Manga Studio from chugging or freezing while the pages are put together.
But yeah, Thomas and Kayda both show that they want to help people, and despite their weird mutual rivalry they're willing to put it aside to exchange helpful info. Thomas also lays the groundwork for just HOW weird of a place Daylight Park is to live, and how many super-bizarre things happen there.
I like that even though Thomas is genuinely trying to help, Kayda has every reason to be skeptical. ^^ Love it when both sides make sense.
