Michael Ansara is one Hell of an actor, and (that I know of) I have only seen him in this and an episode of Star Trek TOS - 'Day of the Dove' in which he played a Klingon Captain. EDIT: Also an episode of Star Trek DS9 reprising that role.

Bit of trivia in case you weren’t aware: that line the technomage utters about wizards being “subtle and quick to anger” is a quote from Tolkien’s Fellowship of the Ring.

I love that Ivanova got a promotion in this episode to full Commander. She has definitely earned it.
Girabaldi was probably my favorite character in this episode. He also makes the most sense as the one who would have the biggest doubts about Sheridan. He doesn't share a history with Sheridan like Ivanova does. When he uncovered a plot to assassinate the President, he gets shot in the back, and wakes up to find someone new in charge. I would have been highly suspicious if Girabaldi trusted him immediately.
The one moment that probably stood out most for me in this episode was a small moment in Girabaldi's quarters. When Sheridan visits him, you can see Girabaldi previously looking like he is contemplating using his PPG. He's definitely in a low place at this point. Sheridan appears to have noticed as well, but rather than speak the words aloud, Sheridan just places the PPG back in the holster while explaining to Girabaldi why he would like him to return to head of security. For some reason, it always stuck with me.

One of my favorite episodes. "Green." - "Purple." Thank you for this reaction. 😊
I didn't realise that the scene between Garibaldi and Sheridan implicit that Garibaldi thought about to use the gun on himself back then. Now I can't make it unseen, especially the serious look Sheridan had on his face.
