I agree that this is brutal, unfair to Liam, and doesn't reflect his true ability. But is it the wrong choice?
If you think he was he right choice in the off-season then fair enough, he absolutely rates more time to grow than two new to him tracks.
But I know a lot of people, including many at The Race team, saw Yuki as the right answer. And if you're in that camp why wouldn't it be the right choice now to correct that?
After all, as wrong as it is to yank Liam around like this, RB isn't here to help Liam. They are here to win races (or more specifically build brand awareness to sell energy drinks...and this certainly keeps their name in a lot of media)

Does a team have to run two drivers? Asking for a friend.

It's just utter and completea madness. Yuki will be chewed out next, and then what? The red bull second seat is becoming the plot point in a horror movie
Say Christian horner five times in front of a mirror and he appears and curses you as the new number 2 drive.

I'm so bloody angry at Red Bull. They need to sort themselves out. Chewing up and spitting out drivers is something they excel at but sacking Lawson after 2 race weekends is ridiculous. How many more drivers will they break?!

That’s a new record! I hope Yuki does well and that RedBull doesn’t use this as a chance to get rid of him. If things go south, Yuki would be welcome in Indycar! He could be a key player in saving Honda in that series.
