2025-03-26 20:11:24 +0000 UTCI'm sure it does, especially with Honda involved. So unfortunate for Liam given it's probably the track he's had most experience with.

2025-03-26 19:12:41 +0000 UTCThank you for the message. I’ve been wondering about your take on the whole debacle. Looking forward to more reporting from you all.

2025-03-26 12:58:13 +0000 UTCGod the whole 2nd driver seat change at red bull which has been a thing for years, just so embarrassing for the team, who would want to drive for a team that just swaps and changes so often. What a mess, good video as usual from Scott

2025-03-26 12:56:09 +0000 UTCThanks for all the kind words and very generous that nobody has screamed ‘FIX YOUR WONKY GLASSES’ - this bodes poorly for my optical alignment in the video we filmed a little while after I recorded this…

2025-03-26 12:04:13 +0000 UTCReally appreciate the look behind the curtain. Used to be an entertainment industry journalist myself and seeing how others deal with situations like this - especially when, as far as I’m concerned, they’re the authority - is fascinating. Nice of Red Bull to make sure you never get a week off, eh.

2025-03-26 11:44:11 +0000 UTCDo you think it’s made any difference that the next race is also Yuki’s home Grand Prix?
Jack Lunn
2025-03-26 11:38:41 +0000 UTCAs a continuation of what Davy Coolen has said, if Yuki does get the 2nd Red Bull seat and let's say he cannot figure out how to drive that car as well, can the media start asking questions directly to Red Bull about this being a design choice issue that is tailored to Max as opposed to being an issue with the second seats drivers?

2025-03-26 11:30:37 +0000 UTCThe hilarious thing about this all is they could've dropped Perez sooner than they did, allowing them to a) see if Ricciardo could do any better and b) have a prolonged shootout between Tsunoda and Lawson at VCARB to really establish who the best option for 2025 was if Ricciardo wasn't the solution. Instead they stubbornly persisted with Checo (okay, there was probably sone contractual/sponsor complications, but no agreement in F1 is unbreakable) long after it was clear he had to go and made it all so much worse by mismanaging it. Given they had all the pieces at their disposal, they have even less of an excuse for getting it wrong than really any other team.

2025-03-26 11:24:48 +0000 UTCLooking just at the Yuki to RBR alongside Max move in isolation I'm actually excited to see what happens. For me it's really unpredictable, sure he might falter like the other before him but he might adapt. Also given Yuki's sometimes explosive personality there's even more chance for fireworks. I say bring it on.

2025-03-26 11:20:03 +0000 UTCI hope you guys give Red Bull management the grilling of a lifetime. Their abysmal management has created a toxic environment at that place and is ruining carreers.
Davy Coolen
2025-03-26 11:06:14 +0000 UTCOn the basis that Red Bull have failed with their favoured choices, I'm expected their unfavoured choice to win the championship this year. Imagine how long the public holiday will be in Japan if Yuki takes Japan's first win

2025-03-26 10:53:15 +0000 UTCWho replaces Tsunoda after the triple header if he can’t drag that tractor to results?

2025-03-26 10:52:26 +0000 UTCRed Bull really need to sort out this inability to field two competitive cars… if Max suddenly decides that he’s off to Aston Martin or some other racing activity then they’re nowhere.

2025-03-26 10:51:39 +0000 UTCThanks Scott! It's this kind of insider insight of The-Race's way of covering news and the inner workings of top media for F1 that we as members love so much.
