Another vote for BBV8s

Robert Sorbello

Yes for BBV8s and BBV10 archives. Although I think V10s is not quite exhausted yet, there’s a couple of good races still not covered yet!

Kyle Payne

Always enjoy these episodes! It is the best F1 content in the internet!

Roberto Nogueira

Yes to an archive debrief please

Chris Parrott

An Archive debrief I'd like to see would be Mansell's 94+95 F1 [mostly Mis]adventures!

James Atkinson

ARCHIVE DEBRIEF!! Also could get members of the race to suggest which episodes to debrief (like with the season revisited series) and then have the person who nominated the winning debrief on the show with you.

Nicholas Langdon

An older ep debrief would be simply lovely.

Chris Casabianca

Yes please to vote for a debrief from an older episode.

Kris Peladarinos

Can we get a MP4 18B debrief. That whole 2003-2005 period of McLaren fascinates me

Matteo Morgan

Would loveeeee a V8 season. I’m 26 so as much as I love hearing about F1’s older (ancient to me😂) history, I’d love a series recounting Hamilton’e early rise, Alonso’s strongest years, Button’s championship and more! All names I’m very familiar with now but not as clued in on their 2000’s stuff

Olli Emmerson

I also concur with the idea of a debrief for an archive BBV10s episode 😃 As for a V8-only series, personally I never loved that era of F1 as much as the V10 era (two cylinders and 600cc too few 😉) - but if it prolongs the lifetime of this brilliant podcast series, I won't be too upset!

Stuart Coulter

If I remember right this was one of the weekends where Bourdais was closer to Seb and I really remember either Ted of James on commentary saying that Bourdais pace was on point during the race

A decade had passed since Tyrell left F1 so I always felt the 'Brawn=Tyrrell' link is forced even if BAR had taken it over in the traditional way-no one said when Racing Point won a race in 2020 that it was the 5th 'Jordan' win and rightly so as there had been an even longer time gap [15 years] and many changes in name+owners.

James Atkinson

Of course we'll never know. He was usually a bit off Vettel's pace in the car so might have struggled to keep ahead of the other cars but he'd have scored points for sure [which he only managed twice all season].

James Atkinson

Would love a V8 season. And yes please do a from the archive debrief - one to put to a vote? - or have a vote in the style of a knock-out tournament of your favourite episodes? The Andrea Moda episode needs to be in there :).

OC

Definitely up for an archive debrief, in particular the early ones before Glenn asked for memories!

Jimmy Linn

Are you sure you got through all the comments there? ;) It would be cool if you could do another V8 era "Ask Us Anything" episode at some point.

Patrick

Since I am a younger fan of f1, I never got to see this race live and fully understanding what an achievement it was. Wouldn’t Magnussen’s pole in Brazil be somewhat comparable with the big teams messing up in quali and not being there and the small team getting it right. I know it didn’t go haas way on the Sunday/saturday race. Anyways since I recently joined the members club I just want to say I am loving all the perks and xtra episodes 👍

Wille Edin

Toro Rosso did give Bourdais another chance in 2009 but he was outpaced by rookie Buemi [and qualified dead last for his final gp] so I'm not surprised they cut there losses and dropped him mid season. I think going from being the main man in Cart to starting again in F1 was always going to be tough whichever team he joined.

James Atkinson

Being called Edd's number crunching sub actually feels a bit like being knighted. Always happy to help.

Philipp Eitzinger

Archive debrief sounds like fun. It might be a fun exercise to do the very first story, Prost Fired From Ferrari. Maybe there are things that can be added to the first one from all the experience now garnered. Also, laying my claim to Philip's "substitute Edd" crown, Mercedes still have the Tyrrell company at Companies House. I agree with Glenn that BAR wasn't Tyrrell though.

Simon Emms

I like the idea of Retro BBV10s Debriefs of older episodes! Thumbs up from me!

Scott Woodwiss

I love the idea of doing a retro debrief. These are such a great addition to the BBV10 episodes.

Michael Holden

Always felt gutted for Bourdais, always thought if he didn't have the start line problem it might of been a Toro Rosso 1-2
