I'm sure I remember reading an article on The Race previously that suggested Lawsons key strengths included learning quickly and adapting to new tracks on the fly. Anyway, for all the obvious opportunities to critisise Lawson, surely Red Bull should be looking in the mirror first and foremost. I think its fair to state that Gasly, Albon, Perez, and Lawson are not Verstappen level talents, but none of them are as bad as the Red Bull they've been given to drive has made them look.

Max could well go to another team and then they’ll be left with an undrivable dog of a car and quickly be at the back. Meanwhile, max can probably just about win in anything that’s toward the front and fairly neutral

What more mentality does he need to prove when at every point of testing him and to knock him down with pairing him against 1. de Vries, 2. Ricciardo 3. Lawson and he smashed them all. Let be fair
