I'm sure I remember reading an article on The Race previously that suggested Lawsons key strengths included learning quickly and adapting to new tracks on the fly. Anyway, for all the obvious opportunities to critisise Lawson, surely Red Bull should be looking in the mirror first and foremost. I think its fair to state that Gasly, Albon, Perez, and Lawson are not Verstappen level talents, but none of them are as bad as the Red Bull they've been given to drive has made them look.

The second Red Bull seat looks like the 2nd Lotus seat of the ‘60’s before Graham Hill joined the team in ‘67. No one could get close to Clark.

Tbh, I don’t think Yuki will fare so much better. But it would have been the more sensible choice. Experience should count for something. As it is now, imo everyone who goes there will destroy their career.

Red Bull are suffering what Honda in moto gp had with Marc Marquez…. And we all know how that ended. Max could well go to another team and then they’ll be left with an undrivable dog of a car and quickly be at the back. Meanwhile, max can probably just about win in anything that’s toward the front and fairly neutral

I don't understand why they don't trust Yuki. They have said and I've even heard it from Horner that it's about mentality for Yuki. What more mentality does he need to prove when at every point of testing him and to knock him down with pairing him against 1. de Vries, 2. Ricciardo 3. Lawson and he smashed them all. Let be fair
