2025-03-24 01:00:47 +0000 UTClistening to the other pod it’s quite clear it was Lewis suggesting they swap and then a mixture of circumstances meant they didn’t for a few laps. you could say he should’ve done it right when the gap to Russell suddenly closed so charles could have a go but he was still hopeful he could get something out of it at that point.

Ok but he absolutely took his time about it and said he would choose the time. Lewis is a hard hard racer and will inevitably take every opportunity to further his cause. That’s ok. In reality he was losing Charles as much race time as he could and not trying not to look as though he was anything but a Team player. It lost Ferrari a place but I don’t think Lewis will worry about that. Then the exclusion cock ups happened. Oh dear.
