2025-03-19 10:42:29 +0000 UTCI like how provoking rankings are - ratings will always tempt the rater to put two/three/(more) drivers close or alongside each other. Whilst that may sometimes be fair, rankings force a decision of one over the other & thus a discussion. No one is saying there is a right answer so love the engagement! I think here too much kudos is given to drivers who simply drove around and then jumped up with the lap 44 pit decision. But others may see that as worthy of a high ranking - my driver of the weekend was Albon, built progressively, never in the headlines on race day, and finished a brilliant 5th. Subtle but effective.

Not making the start due to a practice/quali crash (Sargeant AUS 23, Schumacher SAU 22) Crashing on the laps to grid (Perez SPA 21) Crashing on the formation lap (Stroll BRA 24, Hadjar AUS 25) Crashing under safety car..... and so on
