MotoGP 2015 revisited: Argentina - The first clash!
Added 2025-02-20 15:51:14 +0000 UTCThe 2015 MotoGP season is notorious for a particular clash between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi (we don’t feel like saying that is too big a spoiler), but the Sepang incident wasn’t their only one.
Matt Beer, Megan White, Simon Patterson and Val Khorounzhiy reach the first Marquez/Rossi flashpoint of 2015 as they get to round three in Argentina.
It was part of an epic race at the front, and that also creates a first opportunity of the series to look at the likes of returning manufacturer Suzuki, Cal Crutchlow making his fresh start at LCR Honda after his Ducati split and what was going on at future champion team Pramac back then.

What I think Megan has kinda forgotten, is that that was Marc 10 years ago, just riding around to gain a 2nd would never of crossed his mind. That's how he rode, he rode to win and dominate. It took several accidents, broken bones (including have one arm sown on the wrong way around) before he started to contemplate backing off and banking points. And as for penalties, that move was never punishable by the stewards.

2025-02-24 13:00:20 +0000 UTCAt the beginning of the race it certainly looked like MM would win it, the Ducatis seemed competitive and both JLo (Lorenzo) and Rossi dropped and by mid distance it seemed like game over. I kinda missed when Rossi's tyre comes in he seems to quietly get back places and then it seems like hes on a charge, but thats also down to the others tyres going off. I was almost surprised that he was championship leader at the end of the race, although MM threw away second it still seemed like his to loose and Rossi was main challenger
