Daylight Daily - The Brothers, Part 1

So something that was always planned for Daylight Park was doing short stories to flesh out the supporting cast and some of the scenarios, which pretty much both just to spice up the experience and to cover some ground that it might not be convenient to get to in the comic, at least right away. It's been kind of a delayed process actually getting one of them finished, but this was the first one we got to work on and we wrapped it up some time ago; since we decided to do something else on DeviantArt to start the month off, this felt like a natural time to take a break from the comic to instead begin posting the first of these stories.

I'm not entirely sure when part 2 will actually come? I dunno, the entire thing is written, but we would still need to do the art and format it and I can see that being kind of a delayed process. Really just a matter of when exactly would next be convenient to do it more than likely, since next thing up in the usual Daylight update slot will be the next page. We're super eager to get to something we're not that far away from there so don't want to drag it out for too long.

So yeah, this is the story of Robbie and Joshie, two of the occupants of Daylight Park. We'll certainly see them pop up in the comic proper at some point (funny enough a couple of pages ago they were mentioned, when Thomas referred to Nainika's kids) but it's kind of hard telling when that might actually be. Still, yeah, if you're invested in the comic I'd definitely be paying attention to the stories as well since they'll likely serve as a testing ground for a lot of stuff.

Funny enough we also have a story idea in mind more directly focused on Nainika, as opposed to her more supporting role here. That might be the one we do next but no promises, need to finish this one first.
